CarFleex vs Booqable: Which Rental Software Fits Your Business?

A car-focused operations tool with a free tier, against a general rental-inventory platform built around a booking website.

This comparison is published by the CarFleex team, and CarFleex is one of the products compared. Competitor information is based on each vendor’s own public product and pricing pages, not paid access or hands-on testing, unless stated otherwise.

CarFleex and Booqable solve rental software from different starting points. CarFleex is built specifically around car rental workflows — vehicles, reservations, rentals, contracts and accounting — with a permanently free tier for small fleets. Booqable is a general rental-inventory platform used across many categories (cars, equipment, event gear, bikes and more), built around a public booking website, quotes and payments, with a 14-day trial rather than a free plan.

Where CarFleex is built for cars specifically

CarFleex’s record structure assumes a vehicle, not a generic inventory item.

  • Fleet records. Each vehicle carries its own rate tiers, mileage limit, fuel policy, deposit, service history, damage notes and net income — attributes specific to running a car rental, not a generic rental SKU.
  • Accounting and payroll. Rental income, late and damage fees, expenses and staff payroll sit in one ledger on the Plus and Pro plans, with CSV exports. Booqable’s reporting (Start plan and up) covers revenue, usage and ROI, which is useful but is not a general-ledger accounting system.
  • Android counter operations. CarFleex’s Android app covers releasing a vehicle, checking who has it, recording a payment and adding a customer, staying in sync with the web portal. Booqable’s mobile offering is a point-of-sale app, reported as a paid add-on rather than a bundled feature.
  • Facebook Messenger AI (Pro). On the Pro plan, CarFleex can answer customer questions on Facebook Messenger using the business’s real fleet data, with a published cap of 2,000 replies a month. We found no equivalent feature on Booqable’s public pages.

Where Booqable is built for booking and payment

Booqable’s strengths line up with businesses that want a self-service web presence.

  • Booking website. A ready-made booking page and a no-code website builder (an add-on) let customers browse and book without a form or a phone call.
  • Online payments. Payment processing is built into the booking flow on every plan, so a customer can pay when they book, not just when staff record a payment afterward.
  • Quotes and contracts, with e-signatures on Grow and up. Booqable generates quotes and invoices as part of its order flow, and adds e-signatures from the Grow plan ($87/mo, or $69/mo billed yearly).
  • Beyond cars. If your business also rents non-vehicle inventory — equipment, event gear, bikes — Booqable’s general-purpose model is designed for exactly that mix.

Public listing vs. self-service checkout — why the difference matters

CarFleex’s public business page shows vehicles, photos and rates, adds a rental estimator that gives a price for chosen dates, and, when the business switches on Accept Online Bookings, lets a customer sign in with Google and send a booking request, all on every plan. The business then confirms or declines the request, or the customer can contact it by Facebook or phone. Nothing on CarFleex’s current public pages describes a customer completing and paying for a booking end-to-end without a staff member.

Booqable’s booking page is built the other way: the customer picks dates, the system checks availability, and payment happens as part of that flow. If reducing manual booking confirmation is a priority — for example, a business fielding a high volume of booking requests — that difference is worth weighing more heavily than feature-list length.

A pricing example, from each vendor’s own numbers

A solo operator with 4 vehicles pays nothing on CarFleex’s Free plan (up to 5 vehicles, 50 customers, 3 staff). The same operator on Booqable would be on a 14-day trial, after which the Start plan is $35/month, or $29/month if billed yearly — before any add-ons such as the website builder or mobile POS.

We are not projecting “annual savings” beyond what each vendor states, and we have not converted Booqable’s USD pricing to PHP, since that requires a live exchange rate that moves day to day. Always check each vendor’s current pricing page.

Choose CarFleex if…

  • You run a small or growing car rental fleetand want to start for free, add accounting and maintenance on Plus as you grow, and automate Facebook replies on Pro.
  • You operate in the Philippines, or anywhere Facebook inquiries drive bookingsand want PHP-first records and an Android app for counter staff.

Choose Booqable if…

  • You want customers to book and pay entirely onlinewithout a staff member confirming each request by phone or chat.
  • You rent more than carsand want one system across multiple rental categories, with a built-in booking website.

What to check before switching

  • Does your current workflow depend on staff confirming every booking, or would self-service checkout actually reduce work?
  • Do you need accounting and payroll in the same system, or is revenue/usage reporting enough?
  • What would Booqable’s total monthly cost be once the add-ons you’d actually use (website builder, mobile POS, extra locations) are included?
  • If you’re on CarFleex’s Free plan today, which Plus or Pro feature would you use first — and is that worth the upgrade now, or later?

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Does Booqable have a free plan?

Not a permanent one, as far as we can confirm. Booqable’s pricing page offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card required, after which its Start plan is $35/month, or $29/month billed yearly. CarFleex’s Free plan, by contrast, does not expire.

Can CarFleex take online payments from customers?

Not currently. CarFleex’s public business page supports browsing, a price estimate and an online booking request that staff confirm; staff record payments on the rental afterward. Booqable’s booking flow includes payment processing, so a customer can pay when they book.

Which one has e-signatures?

Both, but at different points. CarFleex includes rental agreement PDFs with an on-screen signature pad on every plan, including Free. Booqable adds e-signatures from its Grow plan up, not on Start.

Is Booqable specifically for car rentals?

No. Booqable is a general rental-inventory platform used across many categories, car rental among them. It doesn’t model car-specific attributes like mileage limits or fuel policy the way CarFleex does.

Which is cheaper for a small fleet?

For a fleet of 5 vehicles or fewer, CarFleex’s Free plan costs nothing. Booqable has no permanent free plan, so the same fleet would eventually pay at least its Start price after the 14-day trial.
